Based on the novel by Lisa Lutz and David Hayward, Heads You Lose is a crime thriller that centres on the life of two orphaned siblings who have their small town lives shaken up when a headless body appears on their doorstep.
Lacey and Paul Hansen are orphaned adult siblings living a mundane, small town life when a headless body appears on their property. Since they make their money by growing and selling marijuana, they can’t exactly call the cops. After dumping the body, it mysteriously reappears, which sets them off on a journey to figure out who's body it is, who put it there and why. Along the way, they discover that there's much more going on in their small town than they ever imagined. In 2013 Campfire Films produced a short film to use as a presentation piece for the vision Director Kyle Leydier has for the feature film. |

Heads You Lose by Lisa Lutz and David Hayward. In the film, two orphaned siblings are living together in a small town in Northern California when a dead, headless body appears on their property. Since they make their money by growing and selling marijuana, they can’t exactly call the cops, so they try to dump the body only to be faced with the truth.
